Its civil war is one of the oldest conflicts in Africa, and after two decades of crisis, the country remains unstable and dangerous. The ongoing armed conflict in various regions, combined with intense and persistent droughts, exacerbates the situation. With a population of approximately 11 million people, 2.6 million are displaced, and a total of 5.4 million individuals require humanitarian assistance.
