Kenya

Kenya has the largest and most diverse economy in East Africa, bolstered by a young, educated population, a robust private sector, and rich natural resources.

But challenges persist. Despite its potential, the country faces:

  • Deep poverty in both urban and remote areas
  • Limited access to clean water, education, and jobs
  • Widespread inequality and marginalization, especially among women
  • Government mismanagement and ongoing violence

WM is taking action. We offer:

  • Vocational training and literacy classes for marginalized widows in urban areas
  • Education support for children in remote regions like Turkana

Together, we’re building opportunities where they’re needed most.
